    On the basis I need a fairly big outsider to come in to be in with a shout of moving up the table I've spent my morning looking for a good long shot who might be in with a good chance of winning.  

    3:10 Sandown - Altho Bidourey is obvs the one to beat I'm going for ZIP TOP.  Why?  McCoys on board and it's 12/1 atm.

    For the record the other horses I noticed and will be putting some cash on e/w(just so you can all laugh at me having picked the wrong one AGAIN) were

    2:00 Sand - Hello George
    3:45 Sand - THe Way it works
    &
    2:15 Wolves - Quatorze (REALLY liked this one.  Won over a good field in France last month and think it's a  bit unusual to see it here.  I might even change to this one before 1p.m.)
    Starting to hate this comp Brrrrrr. Grrrrrr!  ;-))

    :) Good luck with Zip Top if you stick with this..I wouldn't try and steer you away from perceived long shots but there is still a long way to go in this competition (with no winners myself I have to convince myself of this) and two or three 4/1, 5/1 winners etc will probably keep you in ciontention for the final few weeks.

    Don't forget next week there will be FIVE selections to make, the four days of the Cheltenham festival and the normal Saturday racing. If we havent got a winner by then, maybe it's time for the real long shots! :)

    I also noticed that Soverign Debt is running in that race and am temted to pick it for the third week in a row but I'm not going to, so we all know what will probably happen...

    If I'd seen it was running before i'd made my other selection I would have picked it but the law of sod would have guaranteed Sovereign Debt losing and my orginial selection winning. 

    The only consolation is that I had a bet on it to win so thats something I guess!!
