Lag issues

Firstly let me start by saying this is not a post raging agaisnt sky and its software and how laggy it is, that may be the case, or may not be fact is i dont know enough about computers to say either way.

 when playing more than two tables i experience extreme lag which forces me to fold hands and be "away". my pc was bought no more than 3 months ago and plays games like skyrim, wow, theif, FM (with 6 countried and aorund 19/20 leagues), all perfectly with no issues at all with lags or graphic card capalities (graphic settings always up to the max) so im just wondering what i can do my end to stop this from happening, is their a certain upgrade i should make to my pc?  i know the obvious answer is play two tables but i like playing 2 dyms and an MTT or 3 dyms.

any advice apprieciated as it cost me abit in tonights DTD2 so got me abit mad.

if u need to know any spec details for my pc im sure i could find them but it may take a while lol

I should add that im using the download

and that i dont run anything in the background except sharkscope and my results spreadsheet

I have been suffering with this since I moved on here a few months back, I usually get the lag at 4 tables, but for just over 2 weeks there is a bunch of us having far worse issues with not even being able to log in at certain times or access the website https://www.skypoker.com/secure/poker/sky_lobby?action=show_static&page=poker_community_forums&plckForumPage=ForumDiscussion&plckDiscussionId=Cat%3a57795ac2-1793-4377-b4cf-e124b0f555f4Forum%3adf77f82c-151f-4bea-aae1-fb423dcae1faDiscussion%3a77a27dc9-9a9d-439c-a243-cc3df998ec08 so got me thinking right from the start its been EE's fault and they have gone from throttling to blocking now, I would check to see if your ISP is throttling you, because the EE thread I posted in that link, we been posting him logs and it appears that when Sky gets busy they switch over to P2P protocols, which EE thinks is illegal dl'in, the irony is that because I couldn't get access to Sky last night, I downloaded The Gambler to watch and was still getting 1/2 my dl speed lol.

Im not with EE im with BT, how would i check this?

There are so many factors that could be slowing you down.

Main tip would be to make sure you are playing through a wired connection, not wireless.

Wireless broadband is slower, less reliable and less secure.

My pc is 7 years old and has been multitabling sky even before download was available.

Good to know what I can look forward to once EE sorts this s***t out, so many people at start was saying oh its your computer, oh Sky is so resource intensive even though I never had a problem anywhere else. Defo agree use a wired connection, if you already are, I would speak with BT about the throttling/blocking, because I was pretty sure with BT, TT, Virgin and Sky they didn't throttle people, but you never know they might of changed there policy on this.

This has always been an issue to some players. Why it effects some and not others, I'm not sure.

I was on a couple of your tables last night RLT16 and I had no problems whatsoever. I did see you time out quite a few times. And I was using 3Mobile mi-fi via a wireless connection to my laptop. I use SKY Broadband at home and BT in another location without problems.

I know this does not help you but I know that some players have problems and not others, why?
