Still clearly remember first seeing the TV show before I signed up. One of my first memories is seeing the name plates on the desk in front of the presenters and thinking to myself 'Tikay, that's an unusual name. Must be eastern european or something but he has an English accent'

Yeah, it's flown by, lot of water flowed under the bridge since then.
 
The Site has changed a bit, too, in those 8 years.
 
An amazing number of players have been loyal to Sky Poker, too, many have been here since 2007 or 2008.

Never played anywhere else, this place ticks all the boxes for me and never had any problems. Not played as much in recent times but that's due to personal stuff, still love to stick around here though.
Here's to another 8 years!
The tourney should have been at 8pm though :-p

I joined in the Summer of 2008 when I first started playing poker and it still remains my favourite place to play.

Thanks to Sky introducing me to poker I have made so many good friends and travelled to some amazing places.

Good afternoon all.
Happy Birthday Sky Poker.
Been playing for about 3 years on Sky Poker, and have enjoyed every minute, even the bad beats.
The Community on Sky is second to none, tried another site last year and although i won a small amount of $s absolutely hated it, no atmosphere and no fun. and they didnt even have a £2.20 @2.20 deepstack.

Yes, happy birthday SKY. I started playing on Sky from July 2007, when I was still in my thirties! Have tried a couple of other sites for a few weeks in that time, but have to say Sky is by far the preferred option.

Like Adam (Bromley04) I haver attended many live events (about 20) and made a lot of friends, mostly with the players who take my chips!
