When I first started watching on TV & learning - Chris Ferguson. Guess we'll just move on from that one eh. I really like Gus. Fun to watch in games & has the right attitude. Comes across as a decent sort. Only mega famous player I've met is Orford. I've also met Tikay.
BTW.....LML was the very essence of what an SPT meant. She actually won a Cardiff Friday night side event way before Richard Orford had won his first hand of poker (FTR)

Phil Hellmuth was the first big name poker player to take my attention.
Lately, when playing live, I've actually found myself shaking my head, and thinking (and sometimes saying, much to my bemusement) the kind of wisdom-nuggets that he offers others

Ram Vaswani? I remember playing a tennis match 15+ years ago and one of the opposition said he was a pro poker player, may have been him, certainly looked like him.
