In Response to Re: UKOPS X111 : I don't think the highroller is a staple of the UKOPS series, just pops up in them occasionally. You've saved yourself £550 Posted by hhyftrftdr
Looks like there is a discrepancy Sky..... On the promo page it says the Sunday 30k main is £55 buy in. The tournament lobby says its £110 buy in. SORT IT OUT SKY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Or i'll never play on this sham of a site again. Posted by hhyftrftdr
Careful Harry - people might bribe Sky if they thought you were serious (loves you lol)

Yo H2,
Yes, you are correct, I spotted it whilst prepping for last night's Show. I believe it should be £110. (It would need 600 runners to cover @ £55).
I've sent a note upstairs. They must be getting a bit tired of my "little notes", lol.
I would imagine it will be corrected forthwith, or even sooner.
PS - next time you use multi-exclamation marks, you get BANNED. Do I make myself clear?
From the schedule page ... TUKOPS XIII Day 4 Event Schedule - Monday 6th What's TUKOPS? Tikay's UKOPS? Posted by repton3
Hi repton,
Close, but no cigar.
It's the snappy acronym for TURBO United Kingdom Online Poker Championships, which, you'll agree, is a bit of a mouthful. Amazing, these acronyms, Sky Poker used to have a Live Series called SPUKT, yikes, that was a bit of a dodgy one, liable to misinterpretation by Team Childish.
Doubt it will please everyone (Turbo is certainly not my cup of tea), but more & more, poker players seem to enjoy turbos, & high speed action, so I think it will go well. I can't complain though, as there is an Omaha event again this time, happy days.
Think it's quite interesting actually, the way the Business is developing UKOPS. Each renewal has been different, they keep tweaking it, to keep it fresh. Some worked well (who remembers those) & some not so well (EVERYONE remembers those). These tweaks never please everyone, but UKOPS has more than doubled in size over the last 2 years, so it must be working.
I'm assuming this will be the last UKOPS until the Autumn, that's the usual pattern.
