    i got a twin room at the ramada (right next door to casino) goin cheap for the friday and saturday nite as my son cant make it now, is anyone interested in it?

    Erm, things have gone baps up my end. Booked a hotel/train on Wednesday night thinking it was this Friday. It's not this Friday though, is it. No, it's next Friday. So I'm going to Milton Keynes, alone, in about an hour. I'm not sure I can get any more awesome than I am at the moment. 
    So it's a maybe from me. Not sure I can do Milton Keynes two weekends in a row, but you never know. 
    In other news, if anyone fancies cash games up there tonight then let me know (I won't have my laptop and don't have a smartphone so just please let me know telepathically or something). Ace.

    That's rotten, gutted for you... can't even be redeemed by being a decent location to spend the weekend in!

    Thanks, trio of Outlaws. Actually had a pretty good time: whilst waiting for a £1/2 table to open played some 25p/50p (max buy-in: £30 [!]) and as the table was so soft (and fun) I stayed on it until 6am. Spun my £30 up enough to pay for train, hotel, cigarettes, beers, whiskys and food and still left MK with a profit. 
    Milton Keynes was okay. Like the downtown/business district of a nondescript US city. At least it was where I stayed (Jurys Inn). Unfortunately I won't be going back this weekend though so please take me off the list.
    Will try and make the next one, wherever it is. Perhaps I'll mix things up a bit that time and go a week later or something.

    Thanks for sorting this out again Duncan, these have very much become my favourite part of Sky Poker, the company should get you on the payroll for keeping the (fake) SPT alive!

    Am sure it was worse than herding cats getting everyone to confirm entries etc but really apprecite all the efforts involved.

    Well played to Simon for the win... I tried my hardest to put a stop to that with the amount of times I got it in marginally / or way behind vs him... couldn't win a flip vs anyone else but must have binked 5-6 times in BvB battles :)

    Big thank you to Duncan for the organisation.

    Events like this unite the SKY community and increase interest in SKY Poker. Hopefully there are many more. Who knows, maybe SKY will pick up the baton & run with it & make these regular events.
