I fully intended not to post on this thread again but there has been a lot of mud slung in all directions so I'll attempt to give a balanced and honest background to all this for everyone. I apologise for the length of this post in advance.

If we go back to 2011 things were quite different on Sky Poker. The DTD tri-tournament was in full swing and the team aspects of that were competitive, full of banter, and above all friendly. The main teams at that time were Team Hit Squad, Team Poker Trev, Team Knight Plop, Team 51 and independants. Apologies if I've missed any of the smaller teams that came and went at that time.

One of the teams, team 51, has been alluded to on this thread a number of times and this is indicative of the problems associated with the Sky Poker community. Team 51 was born of the Sky Poker Forum section known as Area 51. This was a place for the conspiracy theorists to post and get their point of view across. It was also intended to be an area where non-conspiracy folk could argue their point of view and generally mock those who doubted the integrity of on-line poker in general. That section of the forum was arguably the funniest, and certainly one of the busiest, sections of the forum.

There came a time when in amongst the usual ''it's rigged'' posts there was a thread which the OP agreed that the RNG was probably as random as it could be but questions were asked about the delivery of the hands generated by the RNG, to the table. The thread was one of the biggest ever in Area 51 and the question was put to Sky about their ancillary software that delivered the cards to the table, and asked the question, ''Is that software also audited/certified?'' The question was never answered.

Team 51 was made up of a selection of the regular posters in area 51 from both sides of the fence. It went on to be extremely successful with 51 members who participated across all spectrums of the site. The captain of the team was a profitable player, having won every major mtt on the site at least once, and was the initiator of the Area 51 thread into the ancillary software.

Whilst the team was made up of some ''it's rigged'' theorists nevertheless it was open in it's dealings. Tony Kendall who was ''Mr Poker'' as far as Sky was concerned was allowed access to the Team 51 Facebook pages and participated within the group and the management section where any decisions were taken. He was made aware of an incident of collusion involving T51 members and the decision to remove the said members from the team. The incident was also reported to Sky Poker CS. All was going well and T51 undertook a challenge to win £251,051 in mtt's on Sky in a year. They succeeded.

Tony Kendall confided in the captain and some members of T51 that he was being trolled intolerably and that it had spread over into his private life and his partners. The apparent instigator and ringleader was a Facebook character called Angela Burberry. Almost certainly a non-existent person who's false ID fronted an apparent campaign of threat and intimidation towards Tony Kendall. The captain of T51 offered to try to find out the ID of the person behind Angela Burberry and gathered a number of T51 members to help. Those members joined the AB FB page and another site frequented by AB and other TK ''haters'' in order to try to get to the bottom of it. Despite many promises of TK being outed and evidence to show what a terrible man he was, nothing ever materialised on the AB sites.

Then AB announced she would be holding what she called 'The Coup de Grace'' in which all would be revealed. For this event she invited 700+ members of the poker fraternity in and around Sky Poker. The captain of T51 was in daily contact with TK, by email, Facebook message and telephone, in the run up to the CdG and the T51 members tried to discover the ID of Angela Burberry.

The evening of the CdG Tony Kendall chatted on FB message to the captain of T51 all through it. The CdG presentation consisted of a large number of screenshots of emails, FB chat logs, FB pages and C&P email details. During the 2 hour presentation there wasn't any material shown that was detrimental to TK. There was material shown about former co-presenters of Tony Kendall's but nothing specifically about him. None of the material was of a positive nature.

The majority of the presentation was taken up with an attempt to convince the members of T51 that the captain of the team had been passing private information about them to Tony Kendall. Screenshots of personal emails and FB messages from T51 members to Tony Kendall were shown and AB said that all had been acquired by mysterious means. References were made to private phone calls between the T51 captain and Tony Kendall from both landline and mobile phones.

One Facebook private message from a T51 member to Tony Kendall was shown as a screenshot and was supposed to have been provided to AB by the T51 captain. The T51 member who sent the message said he had never shared it with anybody except TK.

At the end of the CdG the T51 captain who had been on FB chat/message with Tony Kendall typed into the chat box ''AB is you''

Tony Kendall cut off all communications with the T51 captain shortly after. From that day to this no message has ever been acknowledged or answered by TK. The T51 captain posted a question on the Sky Forum asking who AB was. He was immediately given a life ban from both the forum and the Poker site. He wrote emails to the SP management asking for the whole matter to be investigated. He wrote registered letters to the BSkyB board of directors. None of which were answered other than an acknowledgement from Customer Service.

One evening, without warning, two BSkyB security/fraud investigators turned up at the T51 captains house. They were invited in and spent an hour there asking about the AB affair. The T51 captain was then warned off contacting BSB in the future. This came in an email from one of the visiting investigators.

A number of T51 members, incensed at the treatment of the 51 captain wrote and emailed Sky Poker.

They were all given life bans.

The team 51 member who had his personal FB message to TK shown was given a life ban.

The T51 member who had 6 personal emails to TK shown was given a life ban.

No explanation has ever been offered by Sky poker or BSkyB or for that matter Tony Kendall.

I would add that TK is the customer relations manager still and is heavily involved in all aspects of the Team element in Sky. TK was active on the forum during the recent "collusion" incident but made no comment which was very out of character.

The team captain of 51 is me as you have probably guessed. The team still functions as a group of poker mad friends although few of us are able to play on Sky poker.

I have tried to be honest in recounting something that happened 3 years ago and nothing I have said is untrue as far as I'm aware.

Apologies once again for the length of the post.
