Grade 2 winning hurdler who's made great strides since switched to the Flat, bringing up the hat-trick at York. Better than bare result in 3 runs after and big player if ready to go on return.

Rolled back the years to take 7f Group 3 at Haydock last May, but hasn't quite matched that form subsequently, for all that he wasn't discredited on return at Doncaster 28 days ago.

Promising individual. 4/5 and tongue strap on for 1st time, 2nd of 7 in maiden at Southwell (7f) 17 days ago, left poorly placed. Makes handicap debut. Has good chance on pick of form.

Merely hinted at ability in a trio of 7f maidens at 2 yrs but, as many Sir Mark Prescott-trained 3-y-os have in the past, he looks sure to improve now faced with a stiffer test on handicap debut.

Two wins from 3 runs in GB last year. Creditable 4th of 10 in handicap (7/2) at Epsom (12f, good) 6 days ago, unsuited by step up in trip. Has good chance on form.

Progressed into a smart performer last year, finishing placed at Group level on 2 of his final 3 starts. Still relatively lightly raced so could have more to come in 2015. Yard won this before.

One of the top stayers since joining this yard, winning back-to-back Prix Royal-Oaks at Longchamp. Also bolted up in this race on return last year and obvious claims if ground not too fast.

Highly promising individual who very much confirmed debut promise when easily landing Kempton maiden in record time. Excellent effort upped markedly in class when fifth in Cheveley Park final run.

Promising individual. Course winner. 32/10, won 12-runner Prix Marcel Boussac at Longchamp (8f, good to firm) by 2½ lengths from Ervedya, pushed out. Looks the one to beat if coping with the ground.

3,600,000 gns Galileo colt. Brother to smart winner up to 11.5f Secret Gesture. Found only a subsequent listed winner too strong on debut at Leopardstown (7f) in October, and seems sure to go close.

Very progressive last season, making it 3 wins for the year in listed Newmarket contest in November. Versatile as regards trip and ground and further improvement in 2015 can't be ruled out.

QUICK DEFENCE - (Windsor, 18:50)  5/2 2nd

Progressive form in maidens, close second upped to this trip at Lingfield on return. Open to further improvement now handicapping and sure to go well.

€25,000 purchase out of an unraced half-sister to useful 5f winner Dairine's Delight. Defied greenness when winning sole 2-y-o start at Redcar (7f) in September and open to lots of progress.

Found plenty when making a winning debut at Redcar (7f) in July. Creditable placed efforts in trio of handicaps up to 1¼m thereafter, and well worth a crack at this longer trip on return now.

Rapidly progressive at 2 yrs, winning last 4 starts, staying on strongly to land Royal Lodge before readily making all in Racing Post Trophy. Will stay and sets the standard.

JACK HOBBS - (York, 15:15) 5/2 2nd

Maiden win at Wolverhampton on debut has worked out well and looked every inch a pattern-class performer when winning a Sandown handicap 3 weeks ago by 12 lengths. Derby favourite and obvious player.

SIR DOMINO - (Hamilton, 20:00) 3/1 3rd

Promising debut 2nd at Redcar last October, and progressed as expected to win a Leciester maiden (6f) next time, easing clear. Speedy sort who is open to further improvement now tackling handicaps.

Lightly-raced 4-y-o who won well-contested handicap at Newmarket last summer. Not himself at York on subsequent outing in 2014 but represents some strong formlines and may do better again this term.

High-class performer who was turned over at short odds in Newmarket Group 2 on return, but still did enough to suggest he retains all ability and will be very hard to beat at this level.

Progressed into a smart performer last year and suggested he may have more to offer this time round when chasing home Moohaarib in Ascot listed event on return. This a jump up in class, though.

Successful twice over shorter to end 2014 campaign and ran well while shaping as if better for the run on return at Salisbury. Longer trip will suit and very much one to be interested in.

Brother to high-class 1¼m-12.3f winner Ruler of The World. Built on debut promise when easily landing a 1m Leopardstown maiden in October and he's clearly a bright prospect.
