I might be running hot. I wisely shoved 52 into Militants big blind in a sat last night. He rather oddly snapped with his aces. I quite enjoyed the 3 4 6 flop.

    Nope ;)

Vespa seems to be running hot as well. I can't comprehend it but he supports 2 teams.
One flukes their way into the FA Cup final and the other flukes their way into the Premier League last night.

    Morning (i think it is ) !!

Just for clarification, i'm a Villa supporter who moved to Bournemouth a few years ago, and have been following them as my local team.
I've always had a "smaller" local team to follow.
Kidderminster Harriers when i was a lad.
Plymouth Argylle when i was in the Navy.
    And now Bournemouth.

    I support 3 football teams.

My local club from when I was a lad, Maidstone Utd, folded the year after I moved up to Preston. Whereupon I started following my new local team PNE. Since then Maidstone rebuilt from the Kent senior league and have just secured their 2nd successive promotion winning the Ryman Premier and so will be gracing the Conference south next season.

PNE are on a hot streak at the moment, unfortunately so are MK Dons, which means we will have to win away at Colchester on sunday to secure promotion.

When I was small, it was the fashion to pick a London team to follow (apart from the ones who decided to support the not so local Liverpool or Man Utd) and I plumped for West Ham. Unfortunately I think my hot streak endeth there.

Cheers Tikay my man, not quite chuffed to bits, would swap my poker success with my "real-life".
But continuing the football theme let's not forget the hornets. Watford and Bournmouth, couldn't have picked two better teams to go up (and hopefully stay up).

Great stuff Militant, wing some of that heater my way please :)

Regarding foortball, I decided to follow Man City in about September 2008. Not sure why, I think I just felt that, at the age of 21, I should probably start to support a team, and they seemed a good choice at the time.

I don't even have 'Feed The Goat' tattooed on my arm.

Talking of running hot, this is my micro stakes tournament record for April.

N.B.  The £11 buy-in, was a big mistake.  I was approaching the bubble in a freeroll, winners getting a seat into an £11 BH.  I regd into the BH so that I would get the cash, bubbled, and forgot to de-reg.
