Help please

Ive been invited to the races at Newmarket Tomorrow, I don't know one end of a horse from the other, any tips would be greatly helpful please

    well did ok in the end, saved by the last 2 races when i had an each way bet on a 66-1 shot that came in 3rd, then in the last race picked the winner... Overall, after expenses i came home 20p up...........but had lunch and drinks so cant complain
