I just cant run good in a ME.

Following busting out to a so called good player in another tourny when they snap called my all in after they 3 bet 109s (gave them bad odds to call) to beat my 1010 on the river I get this which is happening everytime I run deep in a ME and its always an important pot for a very decent stack;

I just cant hold. Pure venting I know but its frustrating beyond belief.

Ul mate. I have had two weeks of run bad but looking back, previous month was a run good! Is amazing how when you are running bad you seem to look for cards that beat you instead of the ones that don't

Had it too where reg snaps you off with, well speculative cards. But....... Then they do win hand and are winning players so I try learn a lesson

Tell me about it! It's just one of the horrible sides of variance, I'm the same in the main, the last 3 times I've made the top 20, I've finished like 15th - 20th after gg'ing good stacks in 70/30s (AQ<AT, AT<A6 kinda stuff). Losing a 70/30 aint that big a shock, but deffo is frustrating when it happens in the biggest comp on the site over and over.

I'm still one of the few sky regs yet to win a main event ever, not much you can do about it, just gotta keep plugging away. Some comps you'll run way over EV, some you'll run under EV, until you've played the same comp 1000s of times (gl when there's only 365 mains a year)
