The villian said in the chat box 'you haven't got the J surely'  then called so he didn't just
insta call with his Full house, I said at the time he made a crying call, hoping to be ahead and I
think this might have annoyed him.
Or was he pot comitted and duty bound to call with what he had left?
Just wondering what others would do?

Knew he had a Q, but it was the only way I was going to win the hand.
He was worried about the J on the turn cos he bet then same on the turn as he reraised on the flop.
Perhaps if he had more behind him he would've folded.

i just think this was one of those hands you just have to give up, you really dont need to try to win every hand your involved in, the question to ask yourself is...if you was in his position would you fold?

Like the fact you put me on AA or KK on his thread and tell him to fold.

Mohican, The "crying call" comment didnt annoy me. I knew the only hand beating me was the jack and I didnt see any way you had one, maybe just a gut feeling. When you carried on betting I thought"surely, he cant have a jack" and put it in the chat box.  At the end of the day I just decided you didnt have the jack and you were trying to get me off the hand so I called for my tourny life!

26K in the pot 6k behind? Ive already clicked 'call any' before the bet has even come in....

There are alot easier things to represent to get a bluff through than quads! ;)

I WAS ON THIS TABLE FOLDED PREFLOP BUT FROM THE WAY THE HAND PANNED OUT AND BY BOTH YOUR PLAY BEFORE I WOULDNT HAVE PUT EITHER OF YOU ON THE JACK YOU WERE PLAYING VERY AGGRESIVELY AT THAT POINT AND YOUR PLAY IN THAT HAND DIDNT GIVE ME ANY REASON TO THINK YOU HAD ANYTHING BETTER THAN A QUEEN.
THIS ISNT A CRITICISM JUST MY VIEW FROM WHERE I WAS SITTING

    This is a snap call!

When your bluffing you need to tell a believable story from start to finish. Maybe if the final jack doesnt hit the river then you might get it through, but with his chip stack and the pot size, its still very unlikely.

Once the jack hit the river he automatically thinks you dont have the jack, because statistically you shouldnt!!

Imo you would of been better check raising the turn when the jack would of been a scary card for him, and then he may of passed, but by the river the pot is too big, he has nothing behind and u have a jack 1 in a million times here!

You can find many better spots to bluff i think

    Thanks for the response.
I did think of check raising on the turn(as dantb said)but ran out of thinking time and just called.
Perhaps a glance at his stack before I shoved might have stopped me but it was a pretty instant shove so maybe not.
I'm glad I posted it as you only learn from mistakes and other peoples opinions can only help me improve.
It also seems that if you find yourself with quads in this sort of situation,a shove is gonna get
    paid.thanks,
    regards,
    Mohican.
