No tales to tell of live poker tournaments as my only live poker experience has been home games.
I did win the WSOP once, but that (probably) doesnt count as it was on a computer game.
Can't think of anything particularly interesting to say about why I havent played one before either.
Just to clarify...
1. Does the blog have to be about live poker tournaments?
2. When it says minimum 300 words is that wise? Hard to meaningfully compare a 300 word entry with a 3000 word one. Would it be better to have an upper limit too e.g. 500 words.
Ideally to coincide with the UKPC, we are after live tournament experiences. You must have something to tell us?
I did initially have an upper word limit, although people can put as much detail in as they wish. A shorter story might be punchy and exciting and really grab the reader, whereas a long one might drone on. On the flip side, more detail rather than a little ramble might work. We'll see.
It's ok Kirsty I have a plan. 1. Win my seat this year via a freeroll entry. 2. Have a blast - meet some chariacters - maybe even cash 3. When you repeat this competition next year I'll have something to write about! gl all who enter Posted by Phantom66
Phantom, i've already freerolled it. Now I hope this comp runs next year cos am gonna enjoy every single minute i'm sat at the DTD tables.........lol

Or, alternatively - invest in a trip to a pub/casino nearby and play your first ever live tournament? Then, with it fresh in your memory you can write up about it!!
nice one sky and it`s something different too I will be giving it a bash about one my live poker experiences but my writing ain`t the best Posted by liamboi11
It's probably easier to understand than your speaking, tbh.
I'll give this a go, I've been playing for some time and had played various pub games etc. but will write about my first 'serious' live tournament if that's OK?

Hope to see you there!!
