Adding notes on a player who busts

Is there anyway we can add notes to a player other than when he/she is seated at a table?

I've just seen a play on a DYM that I would like to make a note on the losing player, but as he/she was all in and lost I don't see how I can attach a note to him/her?

(I couldn't make the note earlier as the issue in question related to the play after the river)

If you have their note box open when they bust, it stays open whilst they are not there, any save is saved.
