    Well Walters was on the bench, but Vardy and Ayew both scored, just a shame it was Ayew's brother who scored the first goal and my man scored the last!

    Yesterday was awful but being a West Ham fan i couldnt care less, just for fun i think i might go for the bookings list for the sunderland newcastle game

    Another small first goalscorer patent for today's matches, done early so running the risk of non-runners, but never mind.

    Glen Murray for Bournemouth v Spurs at 6/1
    Kevin De Bryne for Man City v Man Utd at 7/1
    Christian Benteke for Liverpool v Southampton at 9/2

    Would also have put a small bet on Nigel Pearson becoming next Aston Villa manager following Sherwood's sacking  but can't find any prices for it yet!

    EDIT: Market now open, and he's 3/1 second favourite behind Moyes at 4/6. Can't think of a better candidate than Pearson and can't see why Moyes would leave Spain but in a way it might be better if Pearson doesn't get a job soon because he might want his old backroom staff to join him and leave Leicester!!

    I think the fact hes been sacked so quickly must mean they have someone else lined up, id say Rodgers is the most likely but Moyes and Pearson are definitely gonna be front runners....

    and now im going to do something i HATE....   I had £100 on Sherwood to be the next manager sacked at 6/1 about 2 weeks ago after getting a text from my Villa mate, I never put it in here as it was too much of my bankroll to risk on this challenge so it came out my poker bankroll, but safe to say I'm buzzing right now.

    Right here it is, the final throw of the dice.. I must admit I am getting slightly bored of this particular thread, Ive enjoyed the chat and the banter but writing 90% of my bets out before they go off is getting a bit tedious, so if this last bet fails then i shall be thinking of something different to do... maybe a little league where everyone has 5 bets each weekend and we keep a league table or something along those lines.... anyway the final bet is. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to score at anytime tonight. 3/1  £130 staked!

    I enjoyed running the thread, and enjoyed the interaction, so I will probably give it a weeks break and try and start something new, I was thinking something along the lines of a mini league where people get 3points to use each week on any sporting event, it can be 3 different 1 point bets or one bigger bet for all 3 points etc and we can get a little table going with the most points profit across, lets say.. 6 months? prices would have to be the given prices on skybet at the time of the deadline each week. probably 5pm Friday. You wouldnt even have to put the bets on if you didnt wish... anyway I will leave this thread open to suggestions for the best way to get something going, im open to ideas

    yeah I was probably 400ish down over the course of the thread... The reason i started the thread in the first place was because i was showing profit over the last year, (not huge profit) so thought it would be a decent thing to do.. But once the thread started i did find myself betting for the sake of the thread as opposed to bets i thought was +ev. But It was decent fun and I'd probably have lost more if i had been hitting the cash tables instead of writing in here!

    while this thread is on hiatus, I like the look of goals on tonights game, The only bet i have made is 4.5+ goals at 8/1 but 3.5+ goals and btts appeal to me as well.
