Sky Poker forums will be temporarily unavailable from 11pm Wednesday July 25th.
Sky Poker Forums is upgrading its look! Stay tuned for the big reveal!
If Carlsberg did forum threads......
...they would probably be like this.To continue the analogy, GaryQQQ's Results thread is as reliable as a Volkswagen.
Every day, 7 days a week, without fail.
Doubt any one Sky Poker player makes more effort for the Community, over a longer period, than Gary.
That is despite his job, which involves getting up at silly o'clock every morning.
He walks a lot, too. A LOT.
It was his birthday this week, & he celebrated it by walking 23 miles along the South West Coastal Path. He's walking the entire path - 630 miles. You can see his progress so far on his Twitter feed, @GaryLQ
Tonight, he'll be taking a rest from walking, & playing the Main & Mini Events, as a Guest of Sky Poker. It's just a small token of appreciation, & comes nowhere near matching his efforts.
Be really great if he ran deep in one or either.
Be even greater if some of you, especially those who use his Results Thread every day (the most visited thread here, surely?), gave him some encouragement from the Rail.
Good luck tonight Gary.

All the best.
Rainman397
good luck gary.
think how good it would be to post your name tomorow. twice.
Gary never reached the prize pool stage, but took bounties in both Tourneys.
In the Mini, he bust in a spectacular 4 way pot, when his A-J, on a J high flop, looked good, buy A-K man got there on the turn.
In the Main, he had Aces bust twice I believe.
He had a decent rail, too.
WP Gary.
Nice gesture Sky
I'd like to say a big thank-you to Sky Poker for the tournament entries and to everybody who wished me luck. Apologies to anybody I may have accidentally ignored in chat, I didn't have the chat-box open much of time being unaware of this thread.
I only have 108 miles to go now on the magnificent South West Coast Path, which is considered Britain's greatest walk and often makes lists of the best walks in the world. Plans are already being made to go back and finish it off in the Spring
Volkswagen first, Carlsberg next?
You read it here first.
The tournament results have been called into question several times. For example when this highly suspicious outcome was reported on 1st September;
£2,500 Bounty Hunter
However, despite Tikay comparing the tournament results thread to a Volkswagon, I would like to reassure forum members that no matter how unlikely they may seem none of the results have been manipulated, and I'm certainly not expecting a recall
