    Hi Moo,

I think that your fold is reasonable, with the betting, i would put at least the re-reaiser on the flush.
I would say that with out notes on these players the fold is right, however i might have bet out on the flop(half the pot) to see what happens but i believe you got enough info from the others without putting anymore money at risk. Now i suppose your going to tell me that you would have won the hand.

i wish i could fold a set. im very unsure if folding a set is a profitable play long term, the more i look at my set i think i should of folded with 250bb deep, it was past history with this player 4 my play.
vs 2 opponents on a flushing board it looks like a good fold,

Hi Col, thank you for your reply. My plan was to check raise on the flop, I put LMHE on ak/aq so was hoping he would bet, he did but didnt expect Boonicon to do that, plan went out of the window lol.

Thanks for the replies, I was told after the hand (by a friend) it was a tight fold and they would not have done it. Just wondered what other people thought.

I think im folding there but with gritted teeth

    Hi Madmoo,

If you put your opponents on an overpair and a flush, for instance, the call could be good.  Im not an expert on odds, but with 7 outs on the flop (to make a house), 7 x 4 = 28%, and your getting over 3-1 on your money to make the call, including what is already in the middle.

It is also possible that someone could have ak, with an a high flush draw and make a similar move.  However, it is also possible that someone makes the same move with the over set.  Difficult.

I wont ruin the result, but you know how the hand played out!

Thanks for the reply Boonicon, that 15 seconds just isnt long enough with hands like this. Looking at the hh later and showing it to somebody else (without showing final outcome) he said he would of shoved on flop, after looking how the betting went I have to agree long term it was a bad fold.

Are you  a reg at nl50 now?.  Out of interest would you have done the same at nl20 with the same stack/bb ratio?

When I play cash, I play nl50, I find its a much better game, not as many fish getting lucky.
At nl20 I would of have gone all in on flop.
