    I remember being in the Casino at the isle of man after he had ridden a big winner that day in Ireland for Robert Sangster. They were together in the roped of VIP area of the casino playing punto banco - the value of the chips Mr Sangster was using was mindblowing - suffice to say the ones that PE was using had a substantial value but were 5 times less than Mr Sangster's. An amazing jockey who put so much into racing - even after leaving the saddle - a legend.

    Im not into racing but I was from his home town in Newbridge, Co Kildare in Ireland. He did our town and country proud.
