Just a quick question, hasn't this always been during February 'half term' in the past? If so, just wondered why the change as unfortunately I can't  go now :(

    Hi Jonny,

Sometimes, yes. Oddly, a lot of people complained that because it was half term they could not go, so whatever way we cut it, it's inconvenient for some.

Anyway, in this instance, we had a lot of Meetings with Rob Yong & DTD as to date, & the chosen date sort of selected itself eventually. The Dublin EPT is the previous week, & we did not want to clash with that, & the week prior does not leave us enough elbow room to get enough players qualified. We were keen to keep it in February, too, as the moment the UKPC is out of the way, Sky Poker want to state qualifying players for the next big adventure. ;)

It's most unfortunate for you, of course, & a shame you won't be able to join us this time.

Thanks for the reply Tikay. I was just curious and realise you can't please everyone with dates for these things.

If there's a weekend side event I can at least try and make that instead.

Another truly great event I have one small problem with your announcement and I hope it does not get SPT sacked as he has done much fine work for sky but when you put 7 zeros behind the 1 it makes 10 million guarantee. Now I'm no expert but I feel dtd might not want to be footing that sort of overlay. :):)

    Ha.

The difference a stray zero makes, eh? No sharp practice though, just a typo.

Never mind DTD, pretty sure Sky Poker would not want to contribute it's share of the overlay from a £10 milly MTT.

    Thanks for pointing it out.

    Hey Rich/TK

I just wanted to double check because I haven't had an email confirming either way yet, when you qualify for this what day do we get entered for by default, I'm assuming Friday or Sat ? And can I drop an email over to get it changed if I needed to?

    Thanks

    Hi Paul,

The DEFAULT day for ALL Sky Poker Qualifiers is the Saturday.

The confirmation e-Mails have not been sent yet, & may not be for a while, but you are IN.

If you wish to change your Start Day, rather than bother the Office, who will then pass it to Rich or myself, just let Rich or myself know, & we'll sort it.

In practice, Saturday will be heaving (we hope) whilst Thursday & Friday we'll be begging for numbers, so it's not a problem, just come see us half an hour before play starts on the Thursday or Friday if you wish to change, or let us know via this Thread or PM.
