You have until 7pm this evening to submit your answer.
Entries after 7pm will NOT be valid.
And today's ridiculously hard question is as follows;
I have in front of me a standard Bank of England £20 note.
On the rear, it has the serial number in 2 places - left hand side, vertically, & bottom right, horizontally.
You simply have to guess THE LAST 6 DIGITS in the order shown.
So, in effect, any number between 1 & 999,999.
Too hard?
Here's 2 clues to help narrow it down.
The 6 digits add up to 22, & include one zero.
(By way of example, if the number were 111011 the digits would add up to 5).
How do you know I wont make up the answer?
I have now sent the number to SPT Rich, aka Tighty, aka Rich Prew, (who never entered) & some time this evening after 7pm he will post the number.
Good luck.
49 uniques are eligible, but some will just forget, & others cba to work it out, so I guess we may only get 40 entries today.
However, HALF the eligible field (plus ties) still go through, so there will be 25 going into Day 3 come what may.
Nope.
* selects generic reply*
These things are much more difficult than you may realise.
I know that can't be the exact answer, but I'm hoping it will be close enough to make Round 3.
Now that is a very clever answer, I suspect. I wondered if anyone would try that ruse. It's a perfectly acceptable answer of course.
Tactical thinking has begun. It cannot be correct, but it's all about getting into Day 3.
It's a tactical ruse. He knows - & stated - it can't be correct, but he is banking on it being close enough to get him in the top 25.
M y answer is 693220.
The reason i didnt use 220 in the first round was someone else had already used it and i stupidly thought, you could not copy.
All the best.

P.S HAS ANYONE MENTIONED THE £2.20 @2.20 DEEPSTACK YET.

How long have they been out of circulation?
Des Wilson invited me down to Cornwall to play a Charity Event once, there were 93 runners, & 87 were related. Lots of Uncles & Aunts down there.
