In July 2007, Obrestad won a $4 buy-in 180 person online sit-and-go where she claims to have played almost the entire tournament without looking at her cards. She claims she peeked at her cards once during the tournament, when she was faced with an all-in bet. She did this to show "just how important it is to play position and to pay attention to the players at the table
Quite interestingly (well, to me anyway), here's Annette 4 years earlier - note the complete change in her body shape.
I'd guess she lost 4 stones in those 4 years. I know her very well, & with Dave Compton, was the first to interview her after her WSOP-E win, but when I bumped into her last year in Vegas, I barely recognized her. I was with occasional Sky Poker player "doooobs" & he also knew her well, too, & he bet me it was not her.

For fans of Annette - who is a lovely young lady - here's an interview with her we did in Las Vegas last year.

Here she discusses her "play blind" MTT. This was "new Annette" in October 2015.
