Double Guarantee month continues, & after "Mobile", "SNG's" & "Main Event Tourneys", this week it's the turn of the cash players to earn a few bob extra.

2 quick reminders.


1) It EXCLUDES Heads Up Cash Tables.


2) It runs until 23.59 this Sunday. For your points to be paid next Monday, as payment for this week, you MUST "stand" from the Table before Midnight on Sunday. If you don't, the Double Points accrued will go into NEXT week, not this week. 

As it happens, next week is also a "Double Points on Cash" week, so you'll still get the extra money, but you'll get it a week later.

In a word, no.

The T & C's for "Jump Start" explicitly state.....



"5. Jump Start bonuses will not be awarded in conjunction with any other promotion and/or offer. Should a similar Promotion run simultaneously with Jump Start, only one type of boost will be awarded."

I would imagine the reason for this is that it would be so easily open to potential abuse.

So no, no double double, just double.

If it is double points on cash, should it be possible for the points "widget" to go up by a single point?

Yes.

In a situation where you earn 0.5 points, you will now earn 1 point.

They all add up.

Thanks didn't realise you could earn a fraction of a point in cash.

More used to SNGs where minimum is 1 pt so you always have even points in double points promo weeks.

Hi Chiggy,

I've no idea why they are excluded, though I can think of a good reason or two why it might be.
 
Don't see them changing their position on that one though. It's a decent Promo already, imo.

Hi,

As far as I can see, you would get DOUBLE points, but not quadruple points, you can't "double double".

The T & C for next week says......

"Awarding double points for playing on Mobile, Sit and Go's, Cash tables and playing the outlined tournament guaranteed games stated above starts on Mon 25th Jan at 00:00:00 and finishes on Sun 31st Jan at 23:59:59 GMT"

Double points on mobile was for cash only,  so as they are offering double points on cash anyway it makes playing on mobile for double points redundant.

But wouldnt they benefit anyway if the mobile promo wasn't running that week as it's double points on cash also?

Ahh, yes, sorry, I get your drift now.

I'm assuming my interpretations in this thread are correct, I only have the same info to go on as you guys, but they have never previously allowed "double double".
 
If I'm wrong, no doubt someone will mention it.
