Pop up messages

  Obv OCD like me.
  As soon as this happens I have to click the DONE button.

is there a way to turn off pop up messages on the home page? It makes the screen all dark behind my tables and it's off putting, the ones that tell you a tourney is about to start etc  (not that I'm fussy at all)
