RIGHT PLAY?

edited January 2016 in Tournament Strategy
Just been knocked out of 12K rebuy he went AI on a 7s6d2d flop both stacks evenly (bb 150/300) matched winner got 17000 chips I had KdJd my thoughts were I probably had best hand as he was quite loose and would have a good stack if I won or is 53% to low odds to call.

    Hi Doyle,

If I understand it correctly, you had just under 30 BB's & called them off?

I love your hand - 2 overs & 2nd nut flush draw, for sure.

Not so sure I'd call off a 30BB stack with that, though.

I guess I might jam the 30 BB's (probably not a great play), but jamming & calling are completely different. It's so much easier, & more profitable (generally) to be the aggressor or shover than the caller.

Be interesting to see what the experts think, but I'm not calling here.

An exact HH would help. Calling off 30bb with our hand doesnt seem great but will partly depend on their range. What sort of hands did you put them on?
Where do you get 53% as the odds for your hand?

Yes I know it was a bit fruity but he would of raised 2 napkins all in  very aggro I guessed at best he had one card on flop so took a chance, 53% two overs and a flush draw.
