10k landmark

Hi all,

Big day for me today as I reached the 10k games played on Sky Poker.

Its been an amazing 10k games, chatted with so many interesting people. I have made some friends and sadly lost my best friend, the ups and downs of life eh!

Anyhow thanks to Sky and the people that work for Sky and thanks to all the players for making it such a fun site to play on.

I've played on a lot of other sites but none come close to Sky.

I'd like to mention Whizzewky who is nearing an amazing 100k games played on this site.....this surely must be a record! Great guy and a great player too!

Anyhow looking forward to playing many more in the future and meeting more interesting people on my journey to 15k!

Congrats 10k games is no mean feet and told such a high roi after 10k games is also impressive.

Ever thought of moving up stakes?

Thanks guys, yes itsoverforu once I've played 500 games I'm going to give it a bash at playing £5 games for 2 weeks and see how I get on, just as an experiment.

Ive had most of my success at plo and then moved to plo8 where I have been less successful but doing pretty well this year to date.

I've been playing on Sky for 5 years, 

and I don't have a clue how many games I've played.

I doubt very much it's anywhere near 10K

Been playing plo8 for just over a year now, 

I have to say it's always a pleasure to be on your table Ger.

Always a gent, always helpful, oh yes, and always in the chat box.

Looking forward to seeing you at the £5 tables. ;-))

I would be 99.9% sure you could beat the £11 games and 95% you would have over 4% roi in the £22s

I would also be willing to put my money where my mouth is and back you for those games...

Get away lol

I have already said i stake ger to play 11s at plo8. I would be confident he could win 60% as alot of the same players play them. 

Also they dont have 22s at plo8 but i am sure tikay and few other of the guys would like them

Ger is one of the great stalwarts of Sky Poker. 

Amazingly consistent win rate, & someone who is greatly respected by all.
 
Quite something, too, as he has a young family who always take preference, but he still finds time to play, when not changing nappies or reading bedtime stories.

Never once seen him get uppity when he takes a bad beat, either. Proper bloke.

When I first dipped my toes in that funny 4 card game (by mistake), Ger was the first one to welcome me, wish me well and offer advice to the newbie.

I haven't forgotten.

He then took all my chips.

I haven't forgotten that either.

Whats most impressive of all is, that after playing 10k games, finally now Tikay has stopped calling me gerardgirl....lol
