It is similar to the situation when an Online hand, SNG or MTT is suspended due to site issues. Every single player still in says "I would have won it, pay me more"......
Anyway, I'll go see what's happening in a mo.
Staff ONLY (plus a favoured few....) were allowed to re-enter the building, but not customers or players, so as of yet, we don't have any players.
Meanwhile, as I near froze to death outside, I'm sitting in a donkey jacket, gloves & beanie hat.
Players are now being re-admitted to the premises.
A Ruling has been announced.
The clock was stopped & Tournament deemed to be suspended at the VERY MOMENT the Fire Alarm went off.
Hands suspended "mid hand" will be resumed mid-hand.

John Gale just came to see me.
He had raised with an iffy hand, & then, just a nana-second before the Fire Alarm went off, a player shoved all-in over the top of John.
John has had an hour to decide whether to call or not, & has still not decided.
That's some tanking, call the clock.
They have announced that play should re-commence in 8 minutes.
It is suspected that the Fire Alarm was activated by an over zealous "vape" smoker, an over sensitive smoke detector in the ceiling, or a combo of both.
"Vaping" (?) has now been banned in the Club until further notice.
All players, dealers & staff (& updaters, we hope) are bring given free drinks & snacks for the rest of the evening.
Play will re-commence at 18.55.

Sadly, the John Gale story ended in acrimony.
The Dealer had a different tale - she said that John had already said "call" when the Fire Alarm activated, & the hand was then suspended.
When play resumed, the hand was dealt to conclusion.
John is very upset, & says he will never come here again.
I'm not abso sure, but I'm guessing he lost the hand.
Yup, that was my guess, Rose. I mean, if he had won the hand......
With the delay & everything, time has been lost, so they are now going to attempt to play down to 27 players (3 tables) tonight.
With the money bubble not far off, play will slow down soon, & then, once it goes pop, will speed up rapidly.
