Is he going to 3 barrel you though? the board didn't run off amazing to barrel unless he picked up turn equity. We have one of the strongest hands we'll ever have when we c/c two streets and haven't 3 bet pre (btw I LOVE the flat call pre). Im calling, I am not raising my hand in the air in pre-emptive celebration or considering raising but im gonna pretty quickly whack the call button.

Its not exactly the best flop 2 3 barrel obv, but like you said, he may have picked up the club draw on the turn.

If you really think he's very capable of barrelling i think it's a call..... very close though.  As u say it's the passivity that lends to a call.... U only have to be good 1 in 3 to show a profit

Capable of firing 3barrels doesn't really help in whether or not it's a call. Does he 3barrel regardless of the board texture? Like you said this isn't a good board to bluff at generally as any Q will usually call as will a non believing 88/99/1010, if he knows you don't 3bet from SB too often and his image is very LAG from btn. 

You rep exactly what you have so I don't get his bet unless he's value towning you with a wierd 2pair or turned set or AQ.

This is all about reads on villain's betting patterns on whether it's a call or fold I think...

I would imagine a smaller queen would bet/fold more towards half pot on the river but depends on what villain thinks Dant's range from flatting from Sb is. It's plausible villain has a QJ/Q10/Q9 but unlikely in my opinion if he's betting. 

Thing is after c/c'ing flop+turn demonstrating you wana get to showdown villain value betting under KQ here is very thin and will most likely be happy getting 2streets of value if he's ahead and checking behind scared of the check raise unless villain knows you like calling off light.

To me it wasnt the type of board to barrel on. espesh on the river i felt villain would check behind tonnes of hands.

I went for the fold, and im still unsure if i made the right play. It just didnt feel like i could beat his range on his river bet. he deffo checks behind weaker q's and underpairs.

FWIW i 3 bet pre half the time in this spot also.

I think it's the correct decision. I give him props if he 3barrels this board with complete air.
