yes. tough decision. there are too many £500 to do easily now. it will also help improve the consistency and reliability of the test of playing major tournaments. you noted the other day to dollie about playing the £22 mtts with a £500 guarantee. an issue that has been on my mind for a while too. the major mtts have always been the top 20 games.

This makes sense-the only other possible way would be for a tournament to satisfy 2 of 3 criteria:-

1. £500 guarantee
2. 50 runners
3. £1,000 guarantee

good thinking.

i have decided that i will run the bigger schedule of £500 guarantee games. there are 27 today, the highest every daily number. well done sky poker.

if the numbers increase further i will not include those £22 BHs that have few runners. as this is all done in advance, a condition wil be that the MTT should expect more than 30 entrants. that way the £500 gtd £22 games will not be included.

but that's for the future. for now i will go with all £500 gtd MTT. phew.

yesterday, the 18:00pm £22 Bounty Hunter changed its Tournament ID sometime through monday. does anyone know it? if so, i can add it into the results.

there are now two conditions for any MTT to be considered a major tournament and included in the figues for best player etc and for the results to be published each morning.

the buy-in is £5 or more.
the MTT has a guarantee of £500 or more.

today there are 27 major tournaments.

there are so many top MTTs now on sky poker i have dropped the £22 £500 guarantee tournaments from the list of games included as a major tournament.

the high buy-in compared to the guarantee indicates there will be quite a small field in these three games. this maintains the integrity of the results when used to determine best player, hot players, villains and hero cards.

therefore, to be counted as a major tournament there are three parameters:

£500 guarantee or more
buy-in £5 or more
field size not likely to be below 30.

there are a record 29 major tournaments today.

Rob - Thanks for the update, I will probably rocket down your lists now as the 6pm was a major source of points for me lol (I do agree with your decision though). I think the £500 £22 jobbies are struggling and will probably crawl away and die under a bush somewhere.

yes, noticed the change to cash places two days ago. there were 7 mtts yesterday too. i can cater for this without any additional intervention. but not just non-BHs, or is it?
