How should you play these situations...?

edited February 2010 in Sky Poker Tournaments
Hey guys,

Now I never know how to play these situations. I've been wanting to improve on them because sometimes they can pay off majorly but sometimes you can lose alot on them...

I had an open ended straight draw on the flop and I wanted to keep myself interested in the hand whilst not betting too big...is this how you play this sort of situation? I felt I had a good read on my opponent not being too strong so I put in a large bet on the river to go along with my Re Raise on the turn...

What do you think?
