MTT foibles

Hi,

I would like to hear what peoples eccentricities are when playing MTT's. Apart from the obvious of winning it or getting dealt AA etc I would like people to offer what certain things tickle there minds.

For example, mine is I love reaching the stage where the BB is your starting stack. I find that you think back to a few hours ago when you are just starting and have, say, 2000 chips and a dream and now here you are deep with the BB 2000 and that dream is a lot closer.

Any others?

For me as a player learning is being seated on a table with experienced players, this means i can learn a lot and add to my game.

I enjoy making final tables of bounty hunters taking no bountys.... usually means im playing pretty good

Going all in because my hand matches my chip stack. For example, I have 7400 and get dealt 74 then I have to shove. Not sure this is a profitable strategy but I did bust AA with 63 once.

I like counting the numbers down, once late reg has ended. Usually from the rail.

Similar to yours craig, I like getting deep in a tourney and thinking "I've nabbed 50 people's stacks"

For me its getting 95 and singing Dolly Parton or J5 and singing ABC.

I just loved ...

the one time I was running well, playing live and I said ,( maybe a little loud ) "can I have a tray please" when asked to move tables but the kind tournament director helped me with my stacks as I sat on the new table and the looks of the short stacks in my direction   ...
