HELP please - Vegas Freeroll

Hi,
I came second in the Vegas Freefoll. Tatopagao came first but already has a package - the SkyPoker chat team are telling me I do not get the package? The terms and conitions state that the package goesto the next in line..??

You CAN win money in the prize pools for 2nd & lower, of course, but you'll get nothing for winning another, nothing at all. Any player doing so won't have any negotiating options - they will be auto-disqualified from 1st place, with the 2nd getting the package."

So, based on this you have won a package. I would wait till the main sky team are back rather than customer care who wont know about the finer details like this.

Yeah as Matt said you should be fine Lew.

It will appear on the surface that you were 2nd but when it is noticed that 1st place already has a package you should be fine. The TOS are pretty clear.

I am very surprised your opponent did not sit out heads up so there didn't need to be messing around like this. He will have to mess about to get his £500 now I would imagine as it wouldn't have been auto paid out via the prizepool.

Also I am guessing you got £500 for 2nd but you actually won a package.

Just sitting out FTW...

what i dnt get is if tatopago already got the package why didnt he just get 2nd for £500 instead he gets nothing for winning it has he already qualified

He wont get nothing, he will drop down to 2nd place money. This has been discussed on various threads.

Hi Lew,

I will pass this thread up to the Office so they can have a look at it.

As far as I am aware, in this case, the runner up should get the package, but that's not official, it's just my understanding.

Hope it works out OK, if so, the Office should be in touch with you in a day or two. (It won't be today).

The office have confirmed that in the case of the official winner already having a Vegas package, it goes to the runner-up.

I imagine they will be in touch with you tomorrow or Monday, & then you will need to complete a few formalities as to eligibility etc.
 
I won't tempt fate by congratulating you yet, but fingers crossed.
