in last ten of a head hunter tourney and board is 10 10 10 10 im just watching hand and when 4th ten comes im thinking ace is great of course so guy goea all in 15,000 or so and gets called by guy with 7,000 chips so all in im assuming hes got ace too but hes actually got 93, 93???????? now in my eyes that's chip dumping, yes or no?? should I report that

what was other card on board? - if K, Q  - mybe he thinks he is chopping?

people do all sorts - does not look like a dump to me but report if in doubt - CS will look into

As above, other card is important (to a degree) If the card was a K or Q it's possible he thought he was chopping since only an A beats him. If the card was a low card was anything 2 through 8 then a 9 high call still isn't the worst call. There are still several hands he is ahead of. 87, 76, 65, 54, 68, 97, 22-88 (just listing a few of potential playable hands pre-flop - if it was a limped pot (as one guy had 93?) then there would be even more hands that 9x beats.

Whether his call was good or not would be another question - but it's by no means the worst call I've seen in situations before where I know for a fact that no chip dumping has gone on (eg. someone has made a bad call against me, or any other respectable player that I know)

That's not to say that chip dumping hasn't happened here - it could well be the case. It's going to be more likely if the 2 players have just moved to the same table since it means it's their first chance of being able to chip dump. But mostly, I'd say it's just likely a bad call from a bad player (or a bad call from a good player who thought opponent was bluffing more than he actually was!)

Sounds like it may have been a blind v blind limped pot with something like a pot bet left behind(or some similar scenario). The calls not really that bad with a card still to come. Especially in a head hunter where you'll need to punt your short stack sooner rather than later. I'm guessing you beat like 30% of hands or something and have outs versus the rest.

I would not have said this was chip dumping, especially if it is a bounty hunter game, as he would have a lot to lose, it seems it was going as hopeful split pot that didnt work out.

i have been in a casino before when a chap didnt realise the fifth card counted , maybe its the same here !

played in a comp the other night blinds 2k 4k UTG goes all in for 4600 passed back to the big blind (who is big stack) and he passes for 600, chip dumping or what?

Or maybe misclicked? Or maybe already had fold selected before any action?

So to answer your question, it could be chip dumping, or it could be something else entirely.

I've made folds like that.

6 or 7 tabling, chatting away in the chat box, not concentrating properly, & suddenly the chat box lights up "WHAT, you folded?" (Though for some inexplicable reason they generally use 4 question marks &, we can reasonably assume, wear a baseball cap back to front).

It's very easily done, & we feel a complete plonker when we realise. It happens though, it does, anyone who says otherwise is telling porkies.
 
I'm afraid you need a lot more evidence before you can readily assume chip dumping. 

If you feel genuinely aggrieved, send the details to CC, & it will get passed to the Poker Team who will investigate it.

not aggrieved Tikay, wasn't in the hand so cost me no chips. Understand now it was probably a misclick and that was exactly the comment i posted to him lol (no four question marks though)
