"Sorry, your chips couldn't be allocted"

I was playing a 4NL cash game a moment ago and won a pot of around £2, I then received the notification "sorry, your chips couldn't be allocated". I'm guessing the money was reurned to my balance? It's not a big deal as it was a relatively small pot and appeared to be a one off, I just thought i'd higlight the issue as I'd never seen that notification before.

    You probably went to put more chips on the table, but because you won the hand it would have exceeded the maximum you can buy into on the table (100bb-£4) so the chips you tried to put on went back to your account
