Site issues and cc response

As advised I always contact cc if I have any issues which is very seldom.  

This morning I was playing a number of turbo dym's and the site went down.  Definietly the site and sky have agreed with that fact.  

This is the respons:




I'm not fussed about the money I lost, I just think cc should have a better understanding of how disconnecting influences the games, especially in dyms, turbo games and later stages of regular games.

    Got a very similar response about a Heads up hyper, even though the player openly admitted he slowly blinded me down before it went down for him as well, so stacks were not even when i returned, i did try to explain how this left me at a disadvantage but no luck. Pretty dissapointing considering the amount of rake we pay to the site.

    This does seem to be very handles dependant.

    I have had excellent responses to problems and I have equally had very lukewarm and unhelpful responses to the very same issues.

    Overall I think CC do great job, but every now and then there are issues, especially relating to in game disadvantages and effects even a very short outage can have.

    I would also point out that I rarely have the same outlay invested in games that you likely have James (I max out at around 6 tables), and to be honest the money definitely would bother me.

    Thanks for posting this. It is an area that I am always conscious about and one that in the Poker team we strive to improve.

    The guys in the Contact Centre have a thankless job and I know that a number of you are aware of this. They deal with Bet, Vegas, Casino, Bingo and Poker queries everyday. The reality however is that if they get 1 poker contact per shift then that is a lot. 

    Trying to improve the Poker knowledge of 300+ guys is tough so as Hendrik points out it is very advisor dependent. I will speak with the guys today and review how we handle site wide issues.

    I do think on the whole they do a great job.  Can't be easy trying to get up to speed with bet, poker, casino, vegas and bingo.  I often find that a few of the poker players get confused in game.
