Lol- just checked the answer- I was right about Spencer Tracy but couldn't have been more wrong when I said I thought the other one was recent. 1936-37! There is NO WAY anyone is going to get that name unless they cheat! Right, here's my question... What do the Towering Inferno, The Poseidon Adventure and Raiders of The Lost Ark all have in common?

The Poseidon Adventure featured Fred Astaire; The Towering Inferno could have done with Red Adaire; and maybe there were some red stairs outside a temple in Raiders...
