Error message

I have just bought a new computer and when I try to download the Sky client, I get this error message popping up.

The application could not be installed because the installer file is damaged. Try obtaining a new installer file from the application author.

Any ideas on how to get around this please?

Sometimes your anti-virus package can cause that.

Try disabling it while you do that download/install (enable it again afterwards).

also use internet explorer to download as sometimes Chrome / firefox gives this error
