2 outs for a bad beat jackpot (live poker)

edited August 2016 in Poker Chat
So this happened Friday night/Saturday morning.

Having not played live for quite some time I thought I'd head down to the casino on Friday for the 1k tourney. Having got down to about 15bb after being either card dead, or not getting paid when I did have it, I shoved my AQ suited and was called by K10 suited, King on the flop and another on the turn just to rub it in. Goodnight Shauny.
I decided to sit at the 1/1 cash table after that. Pretty weak table and I was up to about 150. I opened QJ diamonds in the cut off, was 3 bet by the button. The big blind cold called the 3 bet so I decided I was getting priced in. The King 10 6 flop ( all diamonds!!!!) Was just about as good as it could get. The big blind lead out for 15 and after a bit of Hollywooding I just called. To my delight the button shoved for about 200 and the big blind called the shove with about 70 quid. I insta called and flipped my cards over. The big blind kept his cards down and the button flipped over 10 10 for mid set. 10 on the turn gave him quads  (pretty standard the way I run!!) But I was open ended for the straight/royal flush. The bad beat jackpot was around 45k, not sure how it would have been divvyed out, but we didn't have to worry about that cos the 4 of clubs on the river did nothing!! So not only did we not hit the jackpot, I got stacked and lost a 400quid pot. Sooooooo rigged lol.
I could have also followed in my father's footsteps as he unlocked a bad beat jackpot online a few years ago.

Just thought I'd share my story :)
