DYM F- fold or call

edited August 2016 in The Poker Clinic
Hi

This left me feeling like I made a mistake...

Both myself and Villain 1 had been too tight and were basically waiting for the other to bust.  He had me covered by about 50 chips.
Villain 2 had big stack and was calling whenever we shoved and just been ul not to bust one of us.

My thoughts at the time...
If I call, I have to beat both of them to win and AQ 3 handed isn't that strong.
If I fold, I hope ss loses.
It was a bad situation brought about by me being too tight, but whats the right move?

    FYP imo.

With bb invested we have the odds to call but this is a dym bubble.

Depends on how you assign ranges.

But I think we are at best 40% to win with a call and about 40% to win with a fold. So I fold here.

Its a fold as both cover you as if you call you have to win the hand. Even if big stack wins you lose as your stack is less than the other small stack.

    So its a fold

Am I reading this all wrong?

If this is the hand above his stack is 2300 (cant see the exact figure) he has 300 invested as BB it costs 255 more to call leaving him over 2000 chips, the sb should check down the streets and even if the shover wins and MrWhite folds his SB on the next hand he will have circa 2000 chips left on the button?

Ok I think I may have made a mistake on the amount of chips you had left.......is that 230 not 2300?  Doh :-)

Yeah to confirm folding would have left me about 230 chips
