3bet pre should be bigger IMO original raiser is not folding any cards and you give the BB a great price to make it a multiway pot.

Post flop its hard to know where you are, as played I think fold is your only option.

thanks hendrik i agree, it was a confidence thing which does not make any sense as i freerolled in but i was trying too hard not to make mistakes and not playing my normal game

I have looked at this a few times now. I have also processed the info into a high level hand analysing program for holdem hands on Sky poker. I have also spoke to quite a few other players regarding this hand and crushed some numbers together and worked out some short term percentages.

The conclusion from all this is.....still can not work out how Bates didn't win the hand.

VUL btw (plus your exit hand). You can play solid for hours in that game, and one hand out of nowhere can wipe your stack out.

Probably a fold, although check on turn made it a bluff spot for him. (Dont mind turn check though). Problem is on the flop its not super draw heavy, only Q10 so not many combos. You block alot of A10 combos. + block AJ combos, if hes betting a jack for value! Which i doubt. Probably a fold, find a better spot
