Sometimes poker is fun and funny

This weekend I was playing in a £5 BH (about 50 players) and all through the game I was slowly building my stack only to be knocked down - to just hanging on.

Time and time again I would get back up to be knocked back (I know - normal poker)

I was so absorbed that I didn't notice it was bubble time until the game paused for other tables to finish

I was trying to hang on to my 2k chips and was dealt KK

As the Americans are fond of saying 'a no brainer' and I shoved.

Only to see the next player shove with AA and a few others also went all in.

At this point I got bad lag and didn't see the flop or anything. The screen went wild with messages too quick to read

and then I saw 'congratulations you have made the final table'

I had to read the commentary section to see I had won the hand with a set of K's

Only trouble was I had 6K chips and everyone else was very high.

My only choice, try find the best spot to shove.

But, there was an arguement raging in the comments section - usual stuff Donk, idiot, etc

Bing bosh bang, they were all going all-in against each other. I just kept my head down.

When I looked up I was in 2nd without playing a hand.

I couldn't overhaul the leader but 2nd from that was very nice.
