Players form info and how you get it
hi all. Playing on sat afternoon social media freebie, I went all in on my first hand from then on one person started to call me a bingo player that was not the problem this went on for a short time bingo player deing mentioned again, I reacted by saying this technique had got me all the way to Las Vegas with sky poker, this was the first time I mentioned my trip at any table, anyway the person didn't believe me and that was not a problem, but then came up with info on all my game finishing positions and how much I had lost in money I hope the figure that was mentioned was wrong but could've been right. Losing is not a problem if it was I wouldn't play where the information comes from could be, can anyone in lighten me

There is a website named "Sharkscope" where players wins & losses are shown. It only shows MTT & SNG's, it doe NOT include Cash Games.
You can check it yourself, easily enough.
It shows you as a winning player, fwiw, to the tune of several thousand pounds. According to that site, on average, every time you play an MTT on Sky Poker you win 15 bob. And you have played several thousand MTT's here.

SharkScope.com is one of, I guess, many sites that somehow mine info from multiple poker sites and maintain a database on player stats. I recently discovered this as I've been working hard and studying to try improve my game. I was shoked to discover the information on me existed, however it did open my eyes to my own, umm, expenditure. You can request them to make your stats private though. Hope that helps, as an aside, I don't personally give a toss if some elitist critiques my play, usually means you are annoying them by being hard to predict and therefore beat/fleece.

Listen up mate.
If you use the internet these days, no matter WHAT site, (including google & Facebook) you are being tracked.
Look up the cost of a flight to Las Vegas on a search engine, & you will then see adverts for flights to Vegas on many sites that you visit.
On many poker sites, as Graham stated, people use HUD's & the like which tell THEM exactly how YOU play poker.
Sharkscope is just another example. They "scrape" data from Sky Poker (Sky Poker do NOT give it - or sell it - to them, they just take it) & sell it on. Such is life in the digital world.
So all you have to do in this case, as AJ Milton, aka The Chump, wrote earlier is.....

Fill in your e-Mail address & screen-name.
And then your stats can no longer be seen by anyone. It's as simple as that.
Alternatively, just ignore the losers who try to have a pop at you on the chat box. Remember, only bad losers do that.
But here, 3rd place of 45 for 380 quid followed by 3 grand in the Vegas final, mate, hope i ever do as well as you have.
Accept that you didn't know it was all up there, accept that it is also up there for anyone else you meet (subject to opting out) then marry that info with your obvious instinctive talent and continue to win.
