Omaha £500 Guaranteed tourney £11 Buy in Once a week Tikay we need you

Hi there Guys and Mr Tikay

As some of you may know I am one of the players that play the nightly £100 guaranteed Omaha Tournament.  A few of us were chatting tonight and the topic came up of a weekly higher guaranteed omaha tournament.

The nightly game gets around 30 runners just now so we came up with two possibilities

Option 1  £500 Guaranteed £11 

OPtion 2 £1000 Guaranteed £11 rebuy 

Just thought I'd open this up and try and guage the support this would get if it was on once a week

Mr Tikay, if we get enough support do you think you could take this to the suits for us

Given sky james recent post about the Sunday £5.50 HiLo (in the Omaha festival thread) I would say we have a lot of convincing to do.

If you and fellow regulars could post in that thread about a festival and playing a one off £11 or £33 it might help.

Hi Peter,

Good to see you back.

I assume you mean PLO8, not PLO when you refer to Omaha.

Asking for, and getting, a bigger weekly PLO or PLO8 MTT is no problem, but I would not be prepared to ask them to put a Guarantee on it.

It's a circular argument, really. If so many players are keen to play it, it won't need a Guarantee, will it?

There are threads galore here on the same topic, but in truth, not enough people who would play it regularly.

Tbf never seen it get anywhere near 30 runners. the last 1 i looked at on sunday had 17 runners.

I would love a £1kgtd £11 plo/plo8 rebuy tourney, would certainly punt until the rebuy period ends, that's like £50 in the pot already!

How flexible is the word guaranteed? Could you have a £7•70 tourney with a £500 guaranteed label , starting at 7pm on sunday with in the overview (description) section just a clear statement that if it misses the guarantee it will be cancelled.I bet theres red tape there somewhere as i was shooting from the hip.I still think a bigger tourney needs some highlighting with colour to stand out more.

The problem is that most tourneys don't hit the required number until well into late reg, so you'd have to severely reduce that pseudo guarantee down to say 20 times the buyin
