the above hand was from a bounty hunter this morning and i am trying to look at it without being results orentatednwe were on the bubble and xx was the shorty i let yy take him on but i feel i should of flung my hat into the ring ended up coming 3rd but i think spots like this would make a differance thoughts please

I thought I had a good chance of being in front against the shorty but the other player had me covered and that made me hesitate and as we all know he who hesitates is lost

Raising bigger pre wouldn't iso the shorty any more than a min raise does, and would mean wasting chips if we then elect to fold.

It's gonna depend on how you perceive the villain, but this could be a call as we only need to beat the short stack to cash, and the prospect of a large stack if we scoop is very appealing.
