What on earth are the use of these poker points,i have 40,000 accumalated but can only enter a couple of so called freerolls a day at 10 points per entry,chocolate fireguard comes to mind.Now i do know that we get paid for them but why are they showing in my account ? Cmon sky help me get rid of em i keep thinking im missing out on something lol.

Hi Guys,

 Here's the deal.  Every time you play, you get awarded points which are calculated by reference to the rake paid.  At the end of each week finishing on a Sunday night,  the lovely boys and girls working up at Sky Towers authorise a payment commensurate with the structure set out on the Promotions page under Sky Rewards.  Now at the end of each month if you have been industrious little poker players and have earned more than 10,000 points, those same lovely boys and girls up at Sky Towers authorise an additional payment and make you a member of the Sky Priority Club.  

Therefore your poker point have already been used to give you oodles of rewards and are simply there in your account section as a little aide memoire for you to look back wistfully at how many hours you have spent playing poker.

If you seriously think you havent been paid, give CC a call, they will take a look.

 If you havent, they will rectify it for you and maybe throw in a Sky Hoodie, as an apology.

3. Poker Points earned in one week cannot be carried over to be used in a future week, they will have no value and will not count towards any future Sky Poker Rewards payout.

Mr Teeks has asked the question about removing them I recall. To some, the tally looks impressive, to others, a reminder that under the mattress is not a bad place for disposable income.

Even Sky merchandise would be an idea. Players get rid of points and Sky (with its still chit software)  gets free advertising.

As this points thing comes up quite often, perhaps the marketing people at Sky could actually use them in some way to promote Sky poker. The fact that it keeps coming up is proof by itself that people think they should be worth something. In reality of course you have already had the value of these points relesed to you in the rewards benifits, and therefore they are now worthless.

Nothing is worthless if it gets you the increased marketing and a higher profile to promote buisness for you. Open a shop promoting Sky branded products for sale which can be bought for cash or a mixture of cash and points. Examples are limitless really, but a few ideas are:- A sky hoody  for £20-00 or only £10-00 and 1,000 poker points, branded sky poker playing cards £5-00 or £2.50 and 250 poker points, sky poker baseball cap £10-00 or £5-00 and 500 poker points, card protectors, usb sticks, poker tables,chip sets, etc. etc.

Obviously this will not affect the big grinders much, but there a lot of mid range or low level players would like a sky cap etc. and would put in a bit extra to get it for less, obviously the pricing matches the product, I took a guess at some, obviously it will need tweaking to suit the actual values so Sky don't lose on it. It will also broaden Sky pokers image as more branded products circulate.

Just an idea as clearly some players are interested in them, should you not use that interest to promote your product.
