Anyone have as bad a Valentine's Day ? However, I managed to regroup and be only £1.50 down on the day, when usually on days like this I end up £26 down and crying myself to sleep.

I knew it was gonna be a bad day when my German girlfriend age 22 (I'm 39 - yes you should be envious), took a bad tumble Saturday severly brusing her left leg and scuffing her right knee and right elbow attempting to break her fall. All my well laid plans of flowers, jewellery, dinner followed by showing her my skills with an all over body massage with aromatic oils - in tatters.

So I thought I would like raises my spirits and play some nice poker 1st DYM I had my AJo outrun by A2s when he flopped a FH no less, i did about 40% of my stack on that hand bearing in mind the flop came down 22A, then I had A9s vs A2 oop battle of the blinds he hit a 2 on thr flop and didnt bet turn came i represented he called and I stopped firing at the pot that was for about 20% of my stack. Getting real peeved at this time, I raise 5bb with AQ UTG (my stack is only 1200 at this time due to the # of robberies), the guy who had coup me with AJ vs A2 earlier reaise all in 3100 chips with AJs (3 more players to act) - Yes you know it he hits his Jack and I'm out. I calculated that the chances of all these events happening were 2.7%.

The next DYM it gets worse I lose a hand when I have flush on the flop, the villian bets out and I reraise all in......I worked this out to me being a 97.3% favourite as the money goes in well watch this:

In my last DYM of the night I managed to avoid going broke on this hand (when I think many would have) and miraculously managed to cash with some pushing allin behaviour, a guy blew up with A8 vs KK in the blinds and the bubble was burst- MWAH!!!

Here is the hand I was supposed to die on, oop I expected a bet but when he didnt I thought flopped flush so I went into check call mode - phew could have been fatal

this ^^^ league freeroll... exited 32nd (top 20 paid... min £20), was really disappointed. This guy was limping in the SB every time, i shoved him once before when he done it... this may have been poorly timed though considering it was not that long ago i shoved his SB limp and he had just got it all in with AA v TT preflop and the river was a T so i guess he was majorly tilting... still a call with Q7... jeeez, he said he was sick of my reraises... lol was only the 2nd time!
