Not been on for a while and just found out very sad day

Like many others I started playing poker after seeing this on SKY.

It led to a good few years of playing a lot on the site and starting to play live and having a fair bit of success both live and online. Eight trips to vegas and a lot of medium UK events.

Highlight being winning a seat on team sky poker and cashing in my GUKPT event in Luton one card away from being massive chip leader with 12 left ;-(

Playing in SPT events and achieving dubious legend status by being the team sky poker player who lost to Orford heads up in the SPT Leeds side event a result that will never be forgiven by Tikay lol.

Had the pleasure of being a guest on the show with TK and Orf the finest double act since Steptoe and son.

Thanks to all presenters and crew over the years you will all be missed and thanks for the memories and for all the fun and laughs and inspiration without sky poker TV I would have not met a lot of interesting people had so many highs (and lows) playing this wondeerful game.

I dont play very much these days as my life has moved in another direction but do still dabble online and live now and again.

It is sad SKY poker is moving away from the friendly fun community based site it always was and gradually becoming more corporate although it is still the best site for this I dont know if this will continue much longer but guess that is just the way of the world all about the cash.
