Point taken Henderson doesn't = Las Vegas.
The one I meant is so easy to get to it feels like the same thing though. Join the I25 near Caesars and the Wallart I mean is just off one of the exit ramps.
I'm not sure I have ever been to a Wallmart in Vegas lol as I always just go to that 1. If I don't have a car then maybe you could chuck me in the boot if you take Mr and Mrs Goodun and I can 'do Wallmart' Vegas style and see if there is a difference
In Response to Re: My story : (Walmarts in Las Vegas). My favourite is the one on West Charlston, or the one right by the runway at McCarron. There are, I think, 17 of them in Las Vegas, of which 8 are "Super Centres". If you don't have a car, I'll be first reserve to take Mr & Mrs Tom to Walmart. Posted by Tikay10
Mrs Goodun has enquired " Do they sell Michael Kors handbags at Wallmart?", as the " definately" real one I purchased from a street vendor in Barbados last year seems to be falling apart

They sell everything at Walmart and you still came away with stuff like this?
I have mentioned previously how proud I am of my children, I suppose it's a common thing for a dad to say.
My son helped me with our decking in the garden as avid readers will remember, he seems to no longer need my 'guidance' on the decking front, a few weeks ago he did a great job in his girlfriends parents garden, and for the last couple of weekends ( when the weather was scorchio) he was working at a friends house doing quite a big job.
My dear daughters bf helped him one morning, I went to pick him up at mid-day and it was crazy hot, I said to my son " Call it a day, you will pass out in this heat", he got a bit tetchy with me and said " I'm being paid for this and I'm going to finish it, not leave it half done".
Well, I suppose that shows the measure of his principles, although I do think he should have had a rest due to the heat.
I sent my dear daughter a text on Monday ( as I do every day) she said my son had taken the day off work and was taking her out to lunch, he is aware of what a tough time she is having lately, I was quite emotional hearing that, it just shows that even though they can fight like cat and dog when they are young, the love for each other remains.

Wow Mr Tom - you really have married a diamond Hope you manage to sneak a few games of poker into your Vegas visit and have a few cashes to spoil your lady wife and family.
Keep well and drink lots of water out there too - it's mega mega mega hot!
I certainly have Rose, I'm such a lucky man, see you on the plane to Veags
Played my last tournaments today before the hol, managed to win one of them, the £5 PL08 bh.
I was talking to a friend recently about my body mass, it got me thinking as I do, I woke up the next morning and was viewing my body in the full length mirror ( not a pretty sight these days)
My good lady was awake in bed and asked why I was looking so sad, I told her how I felt, she replied " Don't be silly Tom, for a man of your age and all the treatment, radiotherapy you had you look damn fine"
A few kind words go a long way, I really must try it some day.
Looking forward to meeting Eamonn, Sir Tikay, Rose, and all the sky peeps.
The flight to Vegas was a tad uncomfortable, the parents sitting behind us took their 18 month old daughter with them, it isn't great when what seemed for the entire trip she was kicking my seat , no sleep on way out..arrived at Caesars Palace totally drained, the receptionist must have seen how tired we both were as she offered us an up-grade room as ' no rooms were ready of the cost we had purchased' I thought how nice, until she informed me it would be an extra $40 per night lol.
We couldn't be bothered to argue the point, and toddled up to our room, it was fab, had a TV in the bathroom, a massive bath and separate shower, my good lady found out the bath actually was one of them jacuzzi things, I think she may have made a slight error in adding bubble bath before putting the jets of air on
We had a great view of the Bellagio fountains outside our window, the bed was lovely albeit a tad high, my wife is slightly smaller than I, by slightly I mean about a foot, she needed a stepladder to get in
We decided to explore the surrounding area, I took my jumper with me " just in case", it was over 100 degrees but the casinos have air conditioning set to Alaska so I was prepared.
My dear lady made me enter a tournament in the Flamingo, cut a long story short I raised with JQ cc UTG, got 2 callers, flop 89cc 4, bet half pot , 1 caller, turn 6c Bingo I shove, he calls with......K2cc, I had forgotten live is rigged
The poker did get better later in the holiday.
Next day was the meet and greet, we were a tad apprehensive but meeting Eamonn and his lovely wife Sharon earlier in the day put us both at ease, I met the legend that is Mr.K, he pulled my leg a bit which was par for the course and made us feel really welcome, all the sky players I met were really good guys n gals, the only downside was no lock on the toilet door good old Eamonn stood guard whilst I did my ablutions for the umpteenth time
Left around 10pm to go to Treasure Island for the $77 tourney, Eamonn won, I came 3rd for $340 which was a nice bonus.

Not true. I would have done but I could not understand a word you said.
My good lady and I were kindly invited to join the bus tour of Vegas., once again I was a tad apprehensive - what to wear!!
I don't know if I have mentioned this, but I feel the cold, how is that possible for a tough ex miner northerner?
Anyway, my fears were unfounded as I shall disclose later
I sat at the front of the bus, opposite a lovely lady ( Sarah) who seemed to know everything about everything Vegas related, we stopped at the Vegas sign for photo ops, I got off to stretch my legs and have a crafty drag of my e-cig, who should come up and introduce himself but the sky poker ambassador Mr.Neil Channing! He is a thouroughly nice chap, I told him we were planning to watch a show, he told me a friend of his had seen it 50 times ! Good review
We then went to the Rio for the sky players to reg for the one drop, and guess what? I was handed a sky poker hoodie my fears for being too cold were diminished somewhat , we stood on the steps and had a photo with all the players - made my day not only that but whilst the players were regging there was a break from the main event ( I recall that rush to the toilets) hi Jon was a tad star struck seeing the likes of Greg Raymer, Mike Matusow, etc etc.
The day ended with a trip to Freemont Street, where Mr Channing bestowed us with a plethora of stories about the beginning of the main event, the players, the hotels, and many others.
Ok , before anyone sees that photo, I must say what a thouroughly decent chap CPFC2010 is. Him and his lovely wife Sharon made our time in Vegas extra special. He was giving me sound advice even after he bubbled the $150 tourney in Caesars on mine and my good lady wife's last night, ( the one I chopped for the 'win' for $1307, got a medal and all )

Cya in Vegas.
Pleased you won that 1-I bubbled it horribly thanks to an evil last card. Mind you, had enough luck tonight.
See you soon
Happy memories.
For those not present, Tom & his good lady are on the right (as viewed) & that's Eamonn & his better half with them.
