Is this a gamble?

After this hand, which terminated my tourny, and my usual complaint about being sucked out, 2 comments were made that I would appreciate opinions about: -
"You gambled and you lost" - Was I gambling or did I make the right play?
"Iffy, house on the flop" - Is that right? Is a house on the flop in obvious danger of losing?

Why is it supid? I am asking for opnions on whether there was any validaity in the comments that were made in the chatbox about my play with the flopped House. If you think it was a gamble then why not explain why? If you think the comments were inaccurate then why not explain why?
    What a stupid post.

imo you floped the house the amount of chips going in after the flop left you no option but to all in the guy who called you pretty much had to and just got lucky to loose you had to
1.come up against the only other ten in the deck and the they had 2 chances to hit there kicker which had to be higher than an eight.
    2. have a high pocket pair and hit that.

just think you took a nasty bad beat

ps i hope the muppet who all inned chasing the 4 flush didnt have the nerve to give you some stick

Seagull....... Are there any hands beating you on this flop?? Answer no! Get it all in every day.  You should think it through mathematically!

Maximum number of outs against you would be 5.  (one ten out there, so someone can have 3 outs to higher ten, and if someone had say jj or j9ss they can have 2 outs). So all in all 5 outs.

Chances of 5 outs being hit - 20%.  Nearly 2:1 on your money for something you are 4:1 favorite. ship it in.

In reality there were 3 outs.  12.5%. U get amazing outs!!!!  Yes you are gambling as its not 100% favourite, but casinos are only like 52% fav on black jack and look how much they win!

You were getting 5/1 pre flop with more than playable hand and stack so there's nothing wrong with speculating with suited connectors - if that's what they meant by gambling then don't worry as I'm never folding in that spot either and can't imagine many others would! It's hard not to think they were pulling your chain if they're saying you gambled after the flop by not folding your Full House (incase someone draws to bigger one) so that's just laughable and we should all give up poker now if that's the case!

You hit the dream flop and got two people calling off their stacks, when one's drawing dead and the other has three outs - there's few situations where you'll be that good so any suggestion you were gambling at that stage is ridiculous...yeah you're not home and dry but that's completely different to saying you were gambling with your "iffy" hand! With that logic, you would only play hands that had got to the river with you holding the absolute nuts - you wouldn't fold straight/top set on flop because someone's drawing to flush and this situation is no different! Unlucky to be outdrawn but you did nothing wrong...
