UKOPS High Roller Charity Last-Longer

Hi guys,

Would be fun to organise a casual charity last-longer for the High Roller tomorrow night. Idea being that anyone playing the event who is interested could post in this thread with the charity of their choice, and whoever lasts the longest in the tournament out of everyone who posted is the 'winner'. Everyone then makes a donation to the winner's chosen charity. No rules on size of donations - can be as little or as much as you can spare, and send all donations direct to the charity obvs - most charities will have a page online where you can send something at the click of a button.

If not enough interest, will open it up to people not playing the event. So even if you normally play freerolls, you could pick Matt Bates or whoever, as long as you're willing to make a charity donation. Would be first come first served - only one pick per person and one person per pick if that makes sense (?!)

If zero interest whatsoever, I will still be making a donation but the more Easter cheer the merrier!

I'm not magnanimous enough to say I'd be happy to lose lol, but I would willingly donate to the winners charity. :=)

Ok anyone who wants to take part, please jump in even if not playing the event! All you would have to do is pick someone who is playing the tournament (there is a list of people currently registered in the lobby, though that will probably at least triple before kickoff) and choose a charity. If your pick lasts longer than anyone else's pick then everyone gives a donation to your charity of choice, and visa versa if someone else wins. As I say, the donation can be of any amount you choose so don't be put off by that, and you won't have to list the amount here afterwards or anything - it's just the gesture of giving something to a charitable cause, plus a bit of a fun sweat on the tournament - win-win!

First come first served and players can only be picked once - just reply with your chosen player and chosen charity.

With hindsight, should have planned this with more notice but only thought of it earlier today. Guess entries are allowed up until the event starts (set over set first hand..?) so please feel free to join in up until 7.30pm tomorrow - the more donations the better!

Yeah sure, will keep lobby open after I bust :P If it goes on super late will post in the morning - it will be on the well known tournament tracking site, or one of those things that Aussie (sorry if spelled wrong) does
