Loads of late money for Raheen House, it's got to be a danger, would have liked to have that one in the perm. It's gunna be a sweat, but at the off time of the first race, the late plunge for Raheen House was not known.
In Response to Re: FRIDAY 21ST APRIL 2017 NEWBURY JACKPOT. MAKE 12 REMOVAL SELECTIONS. MINIMUM OF ONE FROM EACH RACE. : Hi Snuffer. Please note that Havana Beat is an invalid selection (not in light blue) and that Soie D'Leau is number 6 not 8. Cheers and GL, G Posted by StayOrGo
Outsider BACCHUS wins the 5th Leg, knocking everyone out of the Jackpot.
So it's a roll over. The best runner of our selections was CHESSMAN who was 2nd.
Quite a relief not to win the "Virtual" Jackpot in a way, with 4 winners and a 2nd to this point.

I'm still going in my actual placepot with Double Up, Bowsone Fred and Soie D'Leau in the last leg. But it won't be a huge dividend for the size of my perm.
Please note PLACEPOT removers, with Mirza being a non runner in the last, leaving 7 runners, it is OK if your horse is third and will carry positive points not negative.
Ok here's my points total. MK do you want to check, and I will verify yours: STAYORGO JACKPOT POINTS: 29 STAYORGO PLACEPOT POINTS: -6 STAYORGO HAD ONE WINNER AND THREE OTHER PLACED HORSES FROM 12 SELECTIONS Posted by StayOrGo

hi graham all correct from raheen house 11/2 should be -6 not -8
Please note the way we record it is 2 winners and 3 other places (Not 5 places, for recording purposes the winners do not count as placed). We had to go one way or the other and that was what I decided. Also only 11 selections as one was invalid

No problem , it's a learning curve for us all. Hopefully we will all benefit from the experience and it's good to get teething troubles out the way during the trial runs.
When we go live, those that have been involved in the trials, will be well placed to contribute and well rehearsed in the strategy/method and what is required of them.
Everyone can have a day off tomorrow, with the very last trial on Sunday. :=) Roger, will you be available to prep Sunday's Jackpot Spreadsheet on Saturday night? The next one you do after that will be for the real thing! Cheers, G Posted by StayOrGo
OK GRAHAM,
WILL WATCH FOR ANNOUNCMENT TOMORROW NIGHT & PRODUCE SPREADSHEET.
THE PRACTICE RUNS HAVE BEEN GOOD TO GET WRINKLES IRONED OUT, THANKS FOR PUTTING IN THE EFFORT.

It's OK Snuffer, I have checked this.
Micky, your calculations were going so well until BOWSON FRED which was 4/1 LATEST so +5pts for JACKPOT and -5pts for PLACEPOT. Please amend accordingly.
No worries Vaigret, whilst I will be paying particular attention to MICKYBLUE'S and MKGUNNER'SJACKPOT removal selections when we golive, as they have earned that right by participating and excelling in the JACKPOT removal trial runs.
It is however a good opportunity for myself and all other syndicate members that want to be involved with horse selection, to "redeem" ourselves as the league table will be refreshed for go-live and we will effectively start from scratch again.
I very much hope you, Snuffer, Zadoc, Wynne, Jordz, plus others will participate again, when we do it for real. All your opinions will be taken into consideration.
Cheers,
G
P.S. Also remember post go-live it shouldn't be as arduous as we'll all know the process and the right criteria to go for it will probably only occur 2 or 3 times a month, and we will just do it for Jackpot points.

We'd have the following selections (in blue) in LEG 4: (3.40PM) 284.5 UNITS LEFT IN JPOT
So it's a roll over. The best runner of our selections was CHESSMAN who was 2nd.
